Cutera LimeLight - IPL Photorejuvenation

Cutera LimeLight delivers a non-invasive light treatment that can be customised for different skin tones and aging conditions, resulting in an exceptional skin revitalization treatment with minimal discomfort. In addition to treating benign pigment lesions and vascular concerns, LimeLight also balances colour and improves skin complexion.

Intense pulsed light is a non-laser technology, which supplies a broad spectrum of light that is pulsed deep into the skin layers treating Vascular Conditions, Pigmentation Conditions, Acne Management & Collagen/Elastin production.

The therapeutic light energy is transformed to heat energy, heating up and destroying specific treatment targets without damaging the surrounding tissue. Specific treatment targets might include unwanted pigment, brown spots and red facial veins. The body recognizes these damaged cells as waste and removes them through the lymphatic system.

What IPL can do for your skin:

  • Improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
  • Lighten the appearance of freckles (ephelides), pigmentation and sun damage
  • Improve facial redness and acne scarring
  • Clear the skin and reduce acne lesions
  • Improve skin texture and fine lines
  • Even out, revitalize and freshen your complexion

What conditions can Intense Pulsed Light treat?

Pigment spots and sun damage skin

The overall appearance of aging skin is primarily related to sun exposure with resultant UV damage. IPL minimises or eliminates red and brown spots while improving skin colour and texture.

Dilated veins and capillaries

Over time, ageing, trauma, sun exposure and certain lifestyle factors cause a number of veins and capillaries to dilate. IPL therapy can help eliminate damaged veins and capillaries. A treatment cycle of 4 – 6 treatments spaced two to three weeks apart is usually required to reach your best possible outcome

Treating Rosacea

Rosacea is a skin ailment that leaves people red faced with chronic flushing. This is caused by the dilation of capillaries and blood vessels. IPL can successfully treat dilated blood vessels and redness without injuring the surrounding healthy skin, while greatly reducing the episodes of flushing with long-term effectiveness.

Skin Clearing

Dermal Resolutions is now able to offer IPL based acne management programs for clients. These unique treatments are designed to specifically slow the overall production of oil that leads to acne, thus dramatically reducing the chance of spots and minimizing the appearance of pores. Results will vary, but most people will see a significant improvement in skin condition.
